Mark 2:4

There’s no record of who the four friends were, or what they did, but they did something radical, something crazy, something full of faith in Jesus Christ.

Hearing about Jesus

They had heard, and they knew Jesus would do miracles for anyone.

Having the right tools

They needed to break a roof! Some roof breaking tools were needed.

Courage to do different

It wasn’t enough just to be different, but they extremely different.

Bringing their friend

Can you imagine how they had to convince their friend that this would be a good idea? It was nuts!

At their own expense

The Bible doesn’t say where these men were from; there was no religious association, only 4 friends wanting a miracle for their friend

Mind blowing miracle

It was not a paralytic moving that blew everyone’s minds; it was this man’s sin was forgiven. That’s real healing.

  • The friend who knows the miracles of Christ for themselves
  • Your prayer are heartfelt, because you know Christ has worked in your own life!
  • Keeping the ministry and its people in prayer.

Skilled labour

  • The friend who knows how to break the roof
  • You have the creative skills necessary to break roofs, and you are willing to try!
  • Providing creative skills or input to assist a creative youth in their creative experience

Heartworking

  • The friend who cares, above and beyond
  • You are the one who can convince a pessimistic, broken person to try something new.
  • Journeying with creative youth in ups and downs.

And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”
